I felt crappy all weekend. I had a nasty head cold that just wouldn't quit. But it was sooooo gorgeous here on Sunday... 56 degrees and the sun was shining... so we went out to Point Au Roche for a hike. It was about half as long as we usually hike but I think the fresh air did me good because I feel much better today.
We followed the Orange Trail this week...
...the road less traveled
the sky was sooo blue...
there were ice fisherman having a grand time on the ice...
It was a glorious day
March came in like a lamb...
who thinks it will go out like a lion?
Thanks for dropping by...
"Point Au Roche" - There is a place I haven't heard of in a while...
ReplyDeleteWould you believe I grew up in Peru? Lived right on Lake Shore Drive and then in the village of Peru through high school. I have a feeling we know many of the same people. Did one of them send you to my blog or did you find it on your own?
Maggie, she probably found you through my blog. You know this is Josh's mom, right?
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize it 'till last night but, yes, I now know it is Josh's mom.
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs Dubay!
(I graduated with Josh... )
You made me laugh right out loud Kim! For years I was "Josh's mom" or "Adam's mom" then "Kate's mom" and I thought that someday I would go back to being just me... "Debi". But Josh is now 35 and I'm still "Josh's mom"... and you know what? I don't mind at all!
ReplyDeleteYour reply made ME laugh! I guess you'll always be "Josh's mom" to me. Or at least Mrs. Dubay. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely pictures. I hope you're feeling better. The fresh air had to be good for you. I opened some windows to let the fresh air in this weekend -- out with those germs!
ReplyDeleteSometimes there really is nothing better than getting outdoors for a bit, even if it is just a short bit! Hope you're feeling better!
